Sunstreaker is a Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coup styled after the popular character, Sunstreaker, from the original Transformers series. This is a redeco of Binaltech 05 Dead End as another Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coup, which was the original concept character before Takara changed the color to black and renamed it Dead End in order to have the first Decepticon in the Binaltech series. Due to the close resemblance to Binaltech Sideswipe/Lambor who was released as Dodge Viper SRT-10 Roadster previously, everyone expected this mold to be Sunstreaker until it was changed before production began. After popular and probably venomous demand from hardcore Transformers fans, Takara and Hasbro decided to release the Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coup mold as it's original concept of Sunstreaker to appease their fans. As part of BTA series, Sunstreaker comes with a female driver figurine based on an anime character. Sunstreaker comes with Junko, a character from the Japanese cartoon series, Transformers: Car Robots. Sunstreaker also sports his original deco of yellow and black while the vanity plate reads "SUNSTREAKER".
