The Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black Spray is Mr. Hobby's excellent choice for undercoating metal parts and model surfaces before applying color. Applying this black base avoids applying a black coating before applying metallic paint, which reduces the thickness of the paint layer. Priming and under-coating can be accomplished in one step so that you may move on to painting and finishing your model.
