With the Transformers back at full force after the Beast Wars, Transformers went back to their roots in the follow-up line aptly named, Car Robots, better known in the US as RID, Robots in Diguise.

One of the more popular characters in Transformers lore, Car Robots Black Convoy began the now-famous black, grey and teal color scheme that would spawn a series of other "evil Prime" figures that were repaints of other Optimus Prime toys. Black Convoy is a redeco of Laser Optimus Prime from the Transformers: Generation 2 toyline. Destronger Black Convoy is ready to destroy both Cybertrons and Gigatron with his missile launcher, dual barrelled gun, and his Sword of Fury. Black Convoy\'s alternate mode is an oil tanker, which includes a disc launcher, whose trailer can transform into a base with a missile launcher. Black Convoy is reproduced straight from the Hasbro Transformers G2 line with all the accessories including missiles for his missile launcher and dics for the disc launcher. Get your hands on the original Black Convoy that started it all.
